My name is Dr. Muhammad Saeed Meo, and I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Xiamen University Malaysia. With a strong academic background and extensive research experience, I am dedicated to sharing my expertise with the global professional community.

Education:

I completed my Ph.D. in Financial Analysis and Policy from Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (AACSB Accredited Business School) from 2019 to 2022. My thesis focused on "Green Bonds and Other Financial Markets: Diversification and Volatility Transmission Patterns Amidst Covid-19." I was fortunate to have Prof. Dr. Mohd Zaini Abdul Karim as my supervisor during this research.

Prior to my Ph.D., I pursued an M.Phil. in Commerce and Finance from Superior University, Lahore, Pakistan, from 2014 to 2016. My thesis investigated the predictive power of macroeconomic variables for stock price index volatility in emerging and growth-leading economies. I was under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Ahmad Raza Bilal.

I hold a Master's in Commerce (M.Com) from Superior University, Lahore, Pakistan, which I completed from 2012 to 2014, and a Bachelor's in Commerce (B.Com) from Punjab University, Lahore, where I graduated with first division honors in 2012.

Career Objective:

My primary career objective is to contribute my expertise and knowledge to the global professional community. I am committed to engaging in research, teaching, and collaboration on a global scale.

Summary of Qualifications:

As an accomplished researcher, I have published over 70 research papers, including 40 with JCR impact factors. My research work has been widely recognized, with a cumulative impact factor of 200.54. I have received 1620 citations and have an H-index of 23. Furthermore, I am ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. I specialize in financial econometrics, financial economics, green finance, financial markets, energy finance, tourism, and the environment.

Teaching Experience:

I have extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Some of the subjects I have taught include financial accounting, corporate finance, portfolio investment, corporate governance, Islamic banking operations and practices, international finance, time series econometrics, financial econometrics, quantitative techniques in business, and business research methods. I have also supervised M.Phil. students and served as a PhD examiner.

Professional Experience:

I have held various academic positions throughout my career. I started as a Research Associate at Superior University, Lahore, Pakistan, from October 2016 to January 2018, where I supervised theses and delivered lectures. I then served as a Lecturer at the same institution from January 2018 to January 2022, where I continued lecturing and thesis supervision. From January 2022 to September 2022, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Superior University Lahore, managing lectures, thesis supervision, and journal management. Since September 2022, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University, where I continue to lecture and supervise theses.

Professional Expertise:

Apart from my research and teaching roles, I have also gained expertise in various areas. I have provided training in quantitative research, consulted on journal management systems, and conducted research and publication training. I have served as an editor and editorial board member for international journals. Additionally, I have collaborated with several international universities, expanding my research network and knowledge exchange.
